I've been debating whether to get one of these or not. I wouldn't really use a notebook just for everyday purposes, but i have rationalized it as ART! There engraved by a laser that burns off the outer laser of that noble and durable stuff moleskine. There are some pretty cool videos on the engraving process at the website. They have a whole line of artist inspired designs that you can choose from. The design on top is one of the artist designed ones. The other option is that you can upload a picture of whatever you want and they will engrave it onto the moleskins. Thats what I did for the second book. My parents needed a new address book so I found a picture of them that I liked and cropped it to fit the specs specified on the website, in person it looks better then in the picture. For my next purchase from the website I want to spend some time to design something of my own.
