Across the river, there is a Giant Metronome that overlooks all of Prague. When the Czech Republic was behind the iron curtain there was an eighty meter high statue of Joseph Stalin that was destroyed in 1962. In 1991 the international artist, Vratislav Novak built this enormous metronome. It takes ten seconds for the arm to move from one side to the other and to my dismay was not a true metronome, it was powered by electricity, not counterweights. Even with this setback it was very impressive. Below is a panoramic I put together of the view of Prague from the look out.
